Sport&EU Short Talk (online) on Publishing in Academic Journal

On Tuesday 14th May Sport&EU will host an informative online Short Talk focused on publishing in academic journals. In this session, editors from leading journals will delve into key aspects of manuscript submission, hot topics in the field, maximizing research impact, engaging with policymakers, and practical tips for success.

To give us insights on publishing in academic journals, we will be joined by a panel of editors of prominent journals:

Roberta Guerrina is a Professor in the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies at the University of Bristol. She is an expert in EU gender politics and policies and she has published in the area of Brexit; Women, Peace & Security; work-life balance; Identity politics and the idea of Europe. Roberta is the editor of the Journal of Common Market Studies, published by Wiley.

Dr Kirstin Hallman is a Senior Lecturer at the German Sport University and has an interest in sports participation and the management of sports organisations. Kirstin sits on the editorial board of the European Sports Management Association and she is a co-editor of the International Journal of Sport Policy and Politics, published by Taylor & Francis.

Mark James is Professor of Sports Law at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he is also Director of Research in the Manchester Law School. Mark is one of the UK leading experts on sports law and Olympic law, a member of the Advisory Panel to the Independent Football Ombudsman and the Editor-in-chief of the International Sports Law Journal, published by Springer and Asser Press.
